Overview
The BestAir PRO Line of Whole House Media Cartridges are engineered in several styles to fit most whole house filtration units installed in residential applications.
EASY INSTALLATION
Each Cartridge style has been carefully engineered to create an exact fit and either match or improve upon the operating efficiency of the filters OEM replacement.There is no need to maintain or handle spacers, plastic housings or conversion assemblies. Each filter is designed to simply slide into the existing air cleaner housing for a snug airtight fit.
PLEAT STABILITY
Air cleaners using expandable medias without fingers have a tendency to flutter in operation which creates a vibration allowing particles to slowly migrate through the filter and downstream to the occupants.
THREE EFFICIENCIES AVAILABLE
Three filtration medias are used for each filter style and size.
MERV 8
media is used as an economical choice for a good level of filtration efficiency recommended by the Green Building Council for existing systems.
MERV 11
media is a great upgrade to MERV 8 filtration efficiencies. It excells at capturing 1 to 3 micron size particles unrated in MERV 1-10 filters. The MERV 11 efficiency removes over 65% of all particles in the 1 to 3 micron range.
CARBON MERV 11
media is an excellent choice for homeowners concerned with not only removing particles, but also gases and volatile organic compounds. The carbon embeded in the MERV 11 media actually adsorbs the odors and VOC’s from the air as they pass through the filter. This additional benefit makes the CARBON MERV 11 the preimuim choice for homeowners.
